Santa Fe Mountain Adventures is the only outdoor adventure company in town that offers cross country skiing. Join us on a private easy to moderate XC skiing adventure in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We will take you on a trail that is groomed for cross country skiing or we can venture off on trails that may be more challenging. Our guides will provide you with instructions and take you on an enchanting alpine adventure.
We will provide you with the cross country skis, boots, and poles. We can also provide you with bibs, if you do not already have waterproof ski pants. Dress warmly and let’s play outdoors!
We lead snowshoe adventures along pristine snow-covered trails in the Rocky Mountains. There is nothing quite like snowshoeing through the aspen forests in the winter. Enjoy the beauty of snow on the aspen trees. Look up at New Mexico’s brilliant blue skies. Find animal tracks as creatures of all sizes make their way across the snow-laden trails. It’s truly magical to be up in the mountains.
SFMA has permits to take you on a variety of trails, based on your abilities and interests. Take one of our invigorating snowshoe adventures, or an easy excursion through a winter wonderland. Please dress appropriately – waterproof hiking shoes or boots, and warm clothes.
